I’ve been touring some European theme parks with the family, including a visit to Efteling.
Efteling is one of Europe’s oldest and best known theme parks and, according to legend, was an inspiration to Walt Disney in the 1950s.
Whilst that legend may not be strictly true, one thing certainly is... people love it here.
In fact, as of today, Efteling has 6,730 reviews on TripAdvisor, with an average score of 4.5/5
The rating isn’t a surprise - Efteling is a superbly themed park with some great rides... it definitely gets 5 stars from our family.
What is surprising though is the *number* of reviews... especially when you consider that the #2 attraction in the area has just 75 reviews.
So what’s their secret?
Simple. Not only do they deliver a superb experience... they also email visitors afterwards to *ask* for a review.
Think about this. If one of the oldest and best loved theme parks in Europe considers reviews important enough to their long term success that they *actively* collect them... why don’t you do it in your business?
